The City Youth Council of Toronto is an organization focused on encouraging the youth of Toronto to become more involved in the municipal government. The youth council will consist of an elected youth councilor from each of the 44 wards in Toronto. These Councillors represent the youth in their ward, and vote on their behalf on issues that concern the youth as a whole.
