Top Talents Awards Gala 2012: Calling all Dancers, Musicians, Singers, and Artists!

One of the categories of the awards are Arts Awards. Art is such a simple term, yet so difficult to define. For various artists, art is a way of expressing themselves and for others it represents their dreams. Art comes in such various forms and can mean a variety of things for each and every artist. The Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance recognizes young artists who constantly strive in building our community through each of the following areas: Classical Dance, Classical Music, Urban Music, Marital Arts and Visual Arts.

At CTYA, we are excited to announce the start of Robotic classes for this winter. The Robotics competition was a big success as an event. To build on that success, we are introducing classes that will be more focused on math and science as used in robotics – in a classroom setting.

Top Talent Reaching New Heights -  Rajeev 'ThaProphecy'!

In his most recent collaboration, Rajeev ‘ThaProphecy’ paired with Yuvan Shankar Raja for his new movie, Aadhibagavan starring Jeyam Ravi and Neetu Chandra. Rajeev sang the “Bagavan” song for Aadhibagavan music release and Aadhibagavan trailer release in Toronto. He is singing a song in Aadhibagavan movie with Director Harris Jeyaraj. Rajeev was the past winner of the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance’s 2010 Urban Music Award.
