Dear Friends,
On behalf of the City of Pickering and its Members of Council, I am pleased to send greetings to the organizers, participants and guests of the Thaalam 2011 Dance Competition.
This exciting event will showcase our nation’s spectacular local arts and culture scene through an extravaganza of dance performances. I am confident that all in attendance will have an unforgettable time.
I am pleased to know that proceeds from this event will be going towards the creation of a youth recreation centre in the Greater Toronto Area. Your support will make a valuable difference in the lives of many youth.
As the gateway city to the east GTA, the City of Pickering is committed to supporting and advancing our arts and cultural landscape. I commend the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance for helping us meet this objective by successfully coordinating this wonderful event for all to enjoy.
