Rid the Pimple

So, I guess we all have at one point in our lives been visited by the infamous pimple. Yes, that little (or big) thing that sits on your face and seems to never go away fast enough. These are some of the best ways to get rid of them (yes, I’ve used my face as the guinea pig).

1) TEA TREE-OIL: I think this is what works the best. Just dab some tea-tree oil and go to sleep, and don’t think about the stinging or the smell, and you should be good to go. You can get this at Body Shop, it uses an antibacterial formula, and doesn’t over-dry your skin like other stuff. It’s 11 bucks for a tiny bottle, but it’s sooooo worth it. People have different skins, and different things work on different people, but this thing works pretty good.

2) WITCH-HAZEL: No, don’t go looking for a hazel coloured witch. Just mix like a drop or two of witch-hazel to your pimple or to your face cream. I still think the tea-tree oil is better.

3) TOOTHPASTE: I hear this isn’t a good idea, but sometimes it seems to work. But this really dries your skin, so I don’t know if it does more harm than good. But, the good thing is I guess this is one ingredient is always in your house (and you don’t have toothpaste at home, please go get some!)

4) TUMERIC/SANDALWOOD PASTE: This is cool, as long as you don’t mind yellow coloured pillows the next morning.

5) SALT and WATER (One teaspoon of each ONLY): Otherwise you’ll burn your skin, and make sure you don’t rub. This is pretty irritating though. Just rinse it off when it’s dry.

– Make sure you wash your face and use a cleanser to get out dirt, otherwise using these on an unclean face is pointless.

– Change your pillow cases every week or so, because if you think about it, all the dirt from your hair, sweat, face ends up on your pillowcase, and when you toss and turn at night, it ends up back on your face and clogs your skin.

Good Luck =)
