QTSA Performs for Charity

On Friday, March 12, 2010 Tamil Students Association @ Queen’s University (QTSA) took part in a multicultural charity event donating towards two charities.  One of the charities were Help Tammy Help Haiti, which raises funds for earthquake victims in Haiti.  Grandmothers for Grandmothers is another charity in which grandmothers in Kingston help grandmothers in African nations raise their grandchildren.  This event was organized by African Caribbean Students Association (ACSA).

QTSA aims at fostering an appreciation for the Tamil language and culture within the Queen’s and Kingston community. Even though Queen’s TSA is one of the smallest clubs, the support and participation by the members are by far the strongest!
