There’s no fine line between understanding and feeling
You have to walk that mile to get there
Upon feeling, understanding does not require revealing
The aim is not repaying our soldiers’ prayer
The mission is to: enhance the plight and act with no ceilings
I realize today, to live every day like it’s your last
Is not optional for everyone
To enter without testing the waters,
Demonstrates their bravery
To fuel days with mere memories,
Showcases power of their love
Our shoulder was not there for your fall
But our eyes are imprinted with your vision
Heads bow to your accomplishments
Minds race with ideas
Infinite combinations of words
To arrange phrases
To attempt to channel concepts
Beyond the capacity of language…
…But then there are actions.
