Watch the song birds
As they sing their songs using non human words
Dance to the war song
In the glades where the grass was ever so long
Play in the barren fields
Where the soldiers are buried with their shields
Wash the armor
In the river that runs red with the blood of once was a farmer
The ashes of his children
Scattered to the winds as the birds fly by the dozen
Watch the song birds
As they sing the sorrowful song that men always forget
