There will be a special screening of Films, 1999 and 9 Dollars & 50 Cents, at the big Screen (Markham Theatre) today, Sunday, January 23rd at 2pm. Award Ceremony will be held at 6:15 following these screenings.

CTFF will be one of the events occurring as part of the Tamil Heritage Month in January 2011. The arts, including film are vital in preserving and highlighting any given culture. Through CTFF, we strive to showcase our Tamil heritage and culture as well as celebrate the achievements of Tamil Canadians in Media and Film Arts.
CTFF will be an annual event held by Arts and Culture Council of CTYA to celebrate and nurture the filmmakers within Canadian Tamil community. The Festival provides film artists with an avenue to introduce themselves to the broader Canadian society. Through this initiative, we also aspire to promote film arts among our youth.
