The Young Playwrights Unit (YPU) was first formed in 2000 to provide a FREE training experience for young people who are curious and passionate about play-making. This 2012-13 season, we take a page from our professional play development programs to offer a group of dedicated young creators a rigorous context in which to develop some of their first works.

TYO-Canada held it’s third annual “Transition: A Celebration of Achievments” this past Friday, September 21st at Princess Banquet Hall. Many Tamil Canadian youth and Tamil Students Associations from Canada took part in the event, making it a great success. Great work TYO-Canada!

Kilithattu 2012 – National Game of Tamileelam will be happening tomorrow, August 26 starting at 8am at Major Abbas Ali Park (Renamed, but formerly known at McLevin Community Park, located at 180 McLevin Avenue).
