The Global Tamil Youth League (T-League) will be holding its 2nd Annual International Dance Competition Saturday October 6, 2012 in London, United Kingdom. Aadukalam 2012 will be hosted by TYO-UK under the Global Tamil Youth League.
Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance is proud to announce that the champions of CTYA’s Thaalam 2012, UTSC Assassins, will be representing Canada at Aadukalam 2012. Following winning Thaalam 2012, CTYA gave UTSC Assassins the opportunity to assemble the Canadian team. Last year, Thaalam Dance Competition winners, York Huskies, represented Canada at Aadukalam 2011 in Munich, Germany and placed 2nd overall.
With international initiatives such as Aadukalam, youth are able to network with other Tamil youth from various different countries. Through these relationships, it will be possible to collaborate in many more international initiatives in the future, to further recognize youth talents, as well as strengthen the unity of Tamils around the world.
T-League is a worldwide coalition of Tamil youth networks that work together with a common vision to reach, unite and empower Tamil youth to excel as leaders and architects of our nation. Member organizations include: Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance, Canada; Giovani Tamil, Italy; Tamil Youth Network, Germany; Tamil Youth Organisation, Norway; Tamil Youth Organisation, Switzerland; Tamil Youth Organisation, UK; Voice of Tamils, Australia; Tamil Youth Organisation, New Zealand; Tamil Youth Organisation, Sweden; and Tamil Youth Organization, USA.
