Everyone knows you shouldn’t run in high heels.
And running barefoot is not such a great idea, either.
But research led by an American doctor shows running shoes – many of them designed and marketed as able to absorb pressure on the joints when running – stress and strain your knees, ankles and hips more than running barefoot.
