Top Talents Awards 2011 – Special Category, Mr. Jayarajeen Sivalingam

On September 18, 2011, the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance (CTYA) held its second annual Top Talents Awards Gala to showcase and reward youth who have excelled in their respective fields. Today, we will profile Special Category Award Winner 2011, Mr. Jayarajeen Sivalingam.

Understanding that youth are unique and all have different skill-sets and interests, CTYA created an award as part of Top Talents 2011 that would cater to those youth who are active and successful in other areas and fields. The CTYA’s “Why I am a Top Talent” Award seeks to recognize an individual who has shown tremendous talent and ability overall within a category not included in the rest of our Top Talents 2011 Nomination Package. The recipient of this award must demonstrate in their personal statement why they deserve to be a “Top Talent” by highlighting their achievements, community service involvement, and extracurricular involvement.
