Greetings From Councillor Chin Lee
On behalf of the City of Toronto, I am pleased to offer my sincere best wishes to everyone attending the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance’s “Top Talents Awards Gala.”
As one of the most multicultural cities in the world, Toronto is home to one of the largest Tamil communities outside of Sri Lanka. In a relatively short period of time, Tamil Canadians have distinguished themselves in making exceptional contributions to the cultural, economic, and social well being of our city.
Tamil Canadian youth have likewise demonstrated themselves to be active and engaged citizens with the necessary ambition, determination and talent to succeed in today’s world.
The City of Toronto is truly fortunate to have outstanding organizations such as the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance to assist and empower Tamil youth to achieve their fullest potential.
All the best for a very enjoyable evening in celebration of the ongoing achievements of Tamil Canadian youth.
