Dear Friends and Neighbours, I wish to extend my sincere congratulations to the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance on the occasion of the Top Talents Award Gala. This important event is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the many accomplishments of Tamil youth in Canada. Canadian Tamil youth are a significant asset to our communities. Their dedication to art, academics and athletic achievements contribute to the vitality, energy and wellbeing of our neighbourhoods. What is more, our youth are fortunate to have an organization like the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance, which encourages their potential and talents as well as provides resources and tools so that the young adults can flourish.
It is often said that the youth are the leaders of tomorrow, but I whole heartedly believe they are our leaders of today. This is certainly the case with organizations such as the Canadian Tamil Youth working to support youth in excelling and becoming leaders in society.
I wish to thank the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance for all that they offer to our youth and I wish you the best in all your future endeavours. I also wish to congratulate and the recipients of the Top Talents Award Gala and extend my appreciation for your contributions to our community.
