The richest soil is drenched in blood

The richest soil is drenched in blood
with ones smile, comes anothers tears
Look into a baby’s eyes,
wide, curious, innocent, yearning for love and care
A child who has done no wrong,
Not a single bad thought on their minds
Not a drop of anger envy or hatred in their souls
And when that child reaches out in hunger in thirst
and a mother is left helpless except to give birth
Nobody stops to think about an innocent child’s worth

The murder of lives
the heartless, taking Earth’s child
Flesh rots, dissolves, into the land we walk on
and grows above are lush green trees
atop beautiful flowers, blows a gentle breeze
A breeze that carries the wonderful scent that
disguises the smell of rotting souls
The rain washes away proof, of the people inhumane
and the very few who see the real world
end up going insane
the clouds watching terror even begin to cry
the land cannot bare the pain, even it begins to part
the oceans gather with anger as water rises,
and drops helpless in frustration
it too carries lives away trying to fit in

Their cries maybe silent, their pleas may go unheard
But those who are gone still live
The have become the beautiful land we walk on
They dance as leaves in the swaying trees
They are the stars in the sky
trying to watch over whats left
But they are still hurt,
they will always remember our ignorance
and through waves and earthquakes they take revenge
hoping each and everytime that we will learn our lesson
Beneath the beauty of the world is only blood
If you could hold the whole world in the palm of your gentle hands
As it sits like a gem, it’ll bleed through your fingers
