As Councillor for City of Toronto Ward 8, York West, I would like to take this opportunity to support Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance (CTYA), a not-for-profit youth organization committed to empowering Canadian Tamil youth to become outstanding leaders and citizens in society.
Organized by the Arts & Culture Council of CTYA, Thaalam 2017: The Ultimate Gaana Competition is a worthwhile event that adds great richness to our community, facilitates youth talent in the arts field and showcases Toronto’s vibrant community of artists and performers. With a growing network of partners and years of experience, CTYA have the tools to carry out another successful event.
Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance is an asset to our city and a positive example for our youth. I gladly support CTYA for contributing to creating a better and stronger Toronto.
