Life does not always play out according to plan. One way or another every individual is met with cross roads. Cross roads that will either throw you down the drain, or bring you to new heights in life. Such was the case for Arrun Durai, a Toronto based software engineer that had everything he ever needed from life. Which is quite hard to believe, considering the fact that he is an orphaned child, raised amongst other orphaned children.

Like all men, Arrun too falls in love. Love is beautiful, although at times love is not always as beautiful as portrayed. Sometimes, love is what causes a mans downfall, and in Arruns case, it may have been his defeat.

Keerthana has played an active role in the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance’s Thazhumbakam project. As part of the project, there have been a series of artwork viewings for its future establishment as a Tamil genocide memorial museum. We wish her the best on all her success!

Her sister Sajeeka, a medical graduate, has set up LOVE NEPAL 2015 – a charity fund with a 100% aim to help with medical assistance for Nepal earthquake survivors and help rebuild the community. All proceeds are going towards their goal to bring Nepal back to its feet. It is inspiring to see a Tamil youth using her talents to help those in need on an international level.

She is the founder of Design Contours (DC Interiors) established in 2008 which specializes in interior designing, home staging, and renovations in Toronto. Her company is catered towards residential owners – simple residential room decor to large interior renovations and basement finishing.
