Life does not always play out according to plan. One way or another every individual is met with cross roads. Cross roads that will either throw you down the drain, or bring you to new heights in life. Such was the case for Arrun Durai, a Toronto based software engineer that had everything he ever needed from life. Which is quite hard to believe, considering the fact that he is an orphaned child, raised amongst other orphaned children. Like all men, Arrun too falls in love. Love is beautiful, although at times love is not always as beautiful as portrayed. Sometimes, love is what causes a mans downfall, and in Arruns case, it may have been his defeat. |

She is a graduate of York University, now heading into Osgood Law school. Since a young age, art has been a huge part of her life, starting piano at age 8. Live Happy” and recently founded Gaana Groove Dance Workout. Gaana Grove is is a new and innovative cardio workout based on popular Gaana songs to help burn calories while having fun. It combines dance, music and cardio workout into one. |

She is a passionate activist who has begun speaking out under her Youtube Channel Paws & Claws. Through this channel, she discusses topics such as tiger temples, wearing fur for fashion, and use of plastic free products to name a few in her ongoing efforts to raise awareness. |

This week on Talent Tuesday, we present Keerthana Nagaratnam. She is the young artist behind Waves of Colour and uses art as a medium to express important topics to youth. Keerthana has played an active role in the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance’s Thazhumbakam project. As part of the project, there have been a series of artwork viewings for its future establishment as a Tamil genocide memorial museum. We wish her the best on all her success! |

Her sister Sajeeka, a medical graduate, has set up LOVE NEPAL 2015 – a charity fund with a 100% aim to help with medical assistance for Nepal earthquake survivors and help rebuild the community. All proceeds are going towards their goal to bring Nepal back to its feet. It is inspiring to see a Tamil youth using her talents to help those in need on an international level. |
