Summer Student applications are now being accepted at The Regional Municipality of York. Please encourage those who qualify to apply. Deadline is January 17th.
Eligibility criteria and link below: To be eligible for a summer student position you MUST be currently enrolled in full-time studies at community college/university/high school and returning to full-time studies in the following school term (the only exceptions to this rule are: Public Health Inspection Students or final term co-ops) You must be legally entitled to work in Canada as a student (a Social Insurance Number will be required at the time of hire)First preference will be given to students whose permanent address is in York Region If you are required to drive a vehicle (Regional or your own) as part of your position, you must submit a current Driver’s Abstract free of any demerit points (zero)
