The Education and Career Development Council of the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance is proud to present Power of the Pen! With this initiative the Education and Career Development Council strives to bring together inspired youth from the community whom share a common interest in creatively expressing their ideas on paper through a young writers network.
Through this unique project, CTYA focuses to help talented young writers within the Tamil community in Canada achieve their career goals by allowing writers to network with other community members and organizations. With Power of the Pen we look forward to having various career exploration and skill building workshops, poetry slams, guest speakers and many more events. This is not only to encourage young writers to succeed in their desired career goals related to writing but to also showcase the young talents that exist within the Tamil community.
CTYA’s Education and Career Development Council wishes to motivate and inspire the many young gifted writers we have within the community by helping them establish a space in which writers can come together and showcase their talent in creative writing!
