Must Read! Ontario Students Tuition Rebates January 2012

Are you a student in your first four years of college or university? Is your family income under $160,000? Then lucky you! Starting January 2012, first entry full-time college and university students will receive a 30% rebate in their tuition fees, which amounts to $1600 for university undergraduates, and $730 for college students. Students must be first entry, which means that this will not apply to students who are reentering a program, or are in graduate school. This program is specifically designed to help students who are starting their first postsecondary schooling. This rebate was announced by Colleges and University Minister, Glen Murray.
This rebate is open to Ontario students. Those who applied for OSAP will automatically be assessed, whereas those who did not will have to fill out an online form on a website that will be available in the New Year. If you are one of those students, make sure that you fill out the forms!

For more information regarding the rebates, please contact your University Registrar or Financial Aid Office.
