November, a month of great importance in the lives of Tamils; a month to commemorate our martyrs and their selfless sacrifices; a month to rise, in solidarity, to bring life to the dreams of our martyrs.

During the month of November, many events took place across Canada, in remembrance of our heroes. Numerous events were organized and hosted by Tamil students from various institutions, to commemorate our heroes as well as educate the non-Tamil students at their respective institutions about our struggle.

The Tamil Students Associations from University of Toronto Mississauga, University of Toronto Scarborough, University of Toronto St. George, York University, Ryerson University, University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Waterloo University, Seneca College, Guelph University/Humber College and McMaster University held awareness campaigns and Maveerar Naal events on their own campuses throughout the month of November.
