It is my pleasure to extend greetings to everyone at the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance on the evening of your Top Talents Awards Gala and Dinner.
While I am unfortunately not able to attend, I still share in your celebrations. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate an element of Canada’s vibrant culture, as well as the history and legacy of Tamil Canadians.
A community truly thrives with the help and support of strong leadership. As a leading cultural institution in Canada, the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance is a role model for the country on what it takes to build a strong sense of community and to preserve an understanding and appreciation of history.
On behalf of the McGuinty government, I want to thank the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance for your work and dedication. Your contribution helps to strengthen the province of Ontario.
