Youth for the Youth Robotics Workshops are back!

At CTYA, we are excited to announce the start of Robotic classes for this winter. The Robotics competition was a big success as an event. To build on that success, we are introducing classes that will be more focused on math and science as used in robotics – in a classroom setting.

These classes will consist of 1.5 hours workshops where students will be provided with the opportunity to continue to build on their knowledge of robotics through various workshops, and field trips. For the winter semester, the participants will be going on a daytime field trip to the Toyota Assembly plant in Cambridge Ontario.

The course curriculum was designed by current and former Engineering students from the Canadian Universities with relevant field applications. The hands-on and theory based course along with field trip makes this a unique program. This opportunity will provide students with the necessary foundational knowledge and skills in engineering and robotics.

CTYA will be holding an information session on Sunday, November 04, 2012 at 3pm. Please contact us through e-mail or phone for venue details. Spaces are limited, so we encourage to signup early to reserve the spot. If you have any information please contact us at 647 787 2892 or info@ctya.org.

Robotics Programs are part of the “Recreation and Innovation Center for Tamil Youth.”

Thank you once again.
