Set goals, and work towards them. It’s good to dream big and aim high, but write them down and put them somewhere you can see them often. If you see your goals written down daily, you’ll be reminded of them daily and will work towards achieving them, otherwise, they may just become floating dreams. You need to put a foundation down and figure out ways to make your dreams a reality, so set some goals today. When you know where you are going, you will get there a lot faster than if you were just aimlessly walking around.
Also when you set goals, make sure you set measurable goals that are realistic, and create a game plan for achieving that goal. If your goal is to earn an A in a particular class for your first term report card, create steps that will help you achieve that.
When you play sports, you aim to shoot at the net, but you wouldn’t shoot at the net if there was no net. And think about how much fun basketball would be without the net or how much fun soccer and hockey would be without nets; without somewhere to goal, you wouldn’t score – so set goals and score.
