What is that makes us close to one another
as we go through life
how do we see eye to eye with one another
and gain trust?
we connect.
As we pray and live, and eat and sleep
we text and chill, and meet and greet
we survive off each other
the happiness
the freedom
we may even live through one another
just because they have it better..
we connect.
We learn and debate
we fight and create
new goals and dreams, or views change
we protest together, we stand up for one another
we connect.
How is that one person can change your life
or a group of people can take over your world
the good influences, the bad
the ugly situations, the laughable outcomes
lets go all out, lets go wild
lets get arrested, lets break the law
lets connect.
It’s that connection that makes us love one other
Friendship, or more. Don’t matter your gender
if you can connect, then you depend
if you can connect, then you build
if you can connect, then you succeed
But time is never a friend
Time, your enemy
Time will form cracks in your walls
and if you dont tend to them
eventually, that wall will fall.
And those happy days are no regrets
but certain factors played a part
and things broke apart
and now your left groping in the dark
but everything else that’s good in your life is still there
so don’t be scared. It’s just the way things go sometimes
What makes us despise one another
as we go through life
how come we don’t see eye to eye with one another
and break each others trust?
