A message from UTSC TSA (University of Toronto – Scarborough Tamil Students’ Association):
The release of Channel 4’s documentary: Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields last year has raised many concerns and questions around the world. This broadcast has won the RTS award for forensic investigation into the events of the last few weeks of the decades-long war between the government of Sri Lanka and the LTTE, presented by Jon Snow.
After screening this film still today Tamils still have not gotten the justice they deserve. Therefore Channel 4 will be releasing another documentary: Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields: War Crimes Unpunished on March 14th. This footage will show new evidence of crimes that have occured against humanity.
Join us in Room IC220 on Thursday March 15th between 5:30-7:30 to view this new documentary further revealing the various war crimes that have been committed.
