Re: Top Talents Awards Gala

As the City Councillor representing Ward 20, Trinity-Spadina, I am pleased to extend my greetings and support to the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance on the occasion of the third annual Top Talents Awards Gala. I would like to congratulate the recipients of this year’s awards, all young individuals who have achieved excellence in their endeavours.

The Top Talents Awards Gala honours the work the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance has done to support Tamil youth in their pursuit of becoming exceptional leaders. There is so much talent in our city, and the initiatives of the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance strengthen the ability of talented individuals to reach their goals and make a positive impact on the social and economic growth of our city.

I commend the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance for your efforts to promote positive change in our city by empowering youth, and I congratulate the recipients of this year’s Top Talent Awards. I wish the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance every success for this event and in your ongoing work to create opportunities for Toronto’s Tamil youth.
