Dear friends:

It is my pleasure to congratulate the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance on the celebration of the third annual Top Talents Awards Gala. I am honoured to be invited to this wonderful event and I am proud of the strong relationship that I have with CTYA.

Tonight, we celebrate the wonderful accomplishments of our talented youth in the Tamil Community. Over the past year, we have seen great successes in the areas of Arts, Academics, and Athletics, amongst other achievements. While we celebrate these accomplishments, let us chart a path forward to build on our achievements and bring even more youth into the work conducted by CTYA.

Canada has been built on the talents and skills of groups such as CTYA. We are a country of people from every corner of the globe and our diversity is one of key reasons that we have thrived as a nation. I would like to thank CTYA for encouraging Tamil youth to celebrate the skills that they have and contribute not only to the Tamil community, but to our entire nation.

In closing, I would like to offer my best wishes to the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance on this special night. I thank you for all that you do and I look forward to working with you in the future.
