This week, we’ve brought you Elisabeth Malini.
Elisabeth Malini L. She is a Tamil Canadian contestant who entered Super Singer 3. She was born in France (St.Cloud) Paris, living now in Canada. She graduated from York University (Glendon Campus) 2004 with Bachelor of Commerce in French, Completed her Bharathanatyam Arangetram in 2001 under her Guru Ananthy Sridas Sasitharan, and is currently pursuing a double degree in Vocal, Dance & Minor in Mrithangam at Anaamallai University in Toronto, Ont). She was introduced to Super Leads band by a friend Suhaliya Ragunathan. Elisabeth Malini began performing with Super Leads in 1993-1996,has then been continuing with Mega Tuners music band for 17 years 1996 to present. Released her music album collection (Nizhalgal) in 2006. She was one of the international contestants from Canada who entered Super Singer 3. She has sung 5 Indian Tamil films Saatai, Nedunchalai and more to come.

CTYA Blog Team: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Elisabeth: Well, I am a simple person. I don’t plan things i just go by the days!

CTYA Blog Team: What got you interested in music and singing? When did you realize you have a gift and talent for singing?
Elisabeth: I started at the age of 7 my father use to listen to music a lot, i usually listen to songs daily and started loving music and singing in the car. Then i took it a bit serious by starting carnatic classes in London England and continued from there.
CTYA Blog Team: What are some words of wisdom you would say to younger students hoping to build a career in the arts?
Eisabeth: Follow you dream don’t give up. Keep practicing and follow your goal. However you must work on it to reach the goal!
CTYA Blog Team: Up to date, what accomplishment in life are you most proud of? What is it about this achievement that gives you this sense of pride?
Elisabeth: Completing my education with a dregree in Bachelor of Commerce. Singing in a couple of movies. Having a supporting family especially my sister.
CTYA Blog Team: Can you tell us a little about any current projects you are working on or looking forward to currently?
Elisabeth: I just currently released by own music video. The song is “NEEYE NEE” from Tunes of Passions. The music was done by Steve Cliffe. Lyrics by Dayan Shan. Videography by Pearlmedia live.
