Thaalam 2012: Heat or Thunder? And the winner is…
The results of the game between Miami Heat and OKC Thunder on Tuesday, June 19 were forecasted by the fans of Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance (CTYA) on Facebook. As part of Thaalam 2012, CTYA Fans were encouraged to predict the winner of the game on the CTYA Fan Page. The names of those correctly predicting the results were to be entered into a draw to win a complimentary ticket to Thaalam 2012.
Ten CTYA fans had correctly predicted Miami Heat to be the winners of the game. Witnessed by members of CTYA, the names of all 10 fans were entered into a draw and a name was drawn on Friday, June 22, 2012. Rathushaan Thayalan was selected in the draw as the winner of the contest.
The Arts and Culture Council would like to express our sincere regrets in not being able to announce the winner of this competition before Thaalam 2012. In place of the complimentary ticket to Thaalam 2012, the Arts and Culture Council will be presenting the winner with three complimentary movie tickets.
