The Tamil Eelam Challenge Cup (TECC) Cricket Tournament is taking place today, July 31, 2010, and tomorrow, August 1, 2010 at Goldhawk Park/Muirlands Park. In order to give back to the community, the Gift of Life will be present during these days, with their booth set up.
Gift of Life is Ontario’s organ and tissue donation agency, created by the Ontario Government in December of 2000. They strive to save lives through organ and tissue donations. As stated on their website, a single organ could save 8 lives, as well as enhance the lives of 75 more.
