They ran places to places
they tried to hide
all they had was hope and faith
but that didn’t save them
they lost their money
they lost their home
they lost their rights
all they had was hope and faith
that one day they will see themselves
without running
without hiding
without a shelter to live in
all they had was hope and faith
but most importantly
they wanted to be alive
but unfortunately that did not come true
take a moment to remember those
who went through the struggle
and couldn’t come out alive.
