UTSC TSA and TYO-Canada Presents “Shoulders of Giants”: Reading Series

This event will revolve around the central themes of NATION, HOMELAND, and SELF-DETERMINATION and will draw from Dr. Anton Balasingam’s novel, “War and Peace” in order to educate the UTSC community of the literature written by leaders of the armed struggle of the Tamil liberation movement. This year we will specifically focus on the first chapter of the book: The Rise of Tamil Nationalism and Armed Struggle.
The youth organizations who identify themselves as allies of the plight of the Tamil people and will be taking part in this year’s installment of the reading series will be:
