Hi everyone!

The Tamil Nation Development (TND) council of the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance (CTYA) is looking forward to the turnout for the imagiNATION project. Upon requests from prospective participants, the TND council has decided to extend the deadline for team registration and topic selection. Initially, the teams were supposed to register and choose their topics by January 14^th. However, now that the deadline for that has been extended, participants can choose their topics, register their teams, AND write their proposals by February 3^rd. Hence, though there has been an extension in this specific deadline, all other time guidelines still apply.

What does this mean? Well, this means that YOU still have the chance to put your thoughts together and get involved in this unique endeavor! Get a group of individuals who share your ideas in promoting sustainable change and participate. Learning is life-long, and education is the key to success. But, what is success when it does not promote the betterment of the entire nation? Use your skills and knowledge to bring people forward with you. This is a platform for YOU to help develop areas that are in need in Tamileelam. By February 3^rd, all you need to do is choose a topic and submit a list of invested team members. Along with that, write a proposal that totals 500 words or less explaining your plan for your project. Remember, the best ideas are clear and simple, yet well thought out.

Through this opportunity, you will be able to share your expertise as you enrich your learning. This is a platform whereby the foundation for the betterment of Tamileelam can be planted, so take this opportunity and get involved. Commendable project proposals will be rewarded and showcased at an exposition in the spring of 2012.
