CTYA’s Human Rights Advocacy Council held a human rights workshop aimed at educating youth on principles and issues dealing with human rights at CREP (Children’s Aid Rehabilitation and Education Program) earlier this month. Eight children eagerly took part in the workshop, and were interested in learning more about human rights. At the end of the workshop, the children put together a poster with one thing they learned and/or will do differently as a result of being more aware of human rights. The energy and the interest the students showed was inspiring.
Photos of the workshop are as follows. If you are interested in learning more about participating at future workshops, please email us at blogs@ctya.org with your name, contact information, and what kind of workshops you would be interested in attending.
