As one of the multicultural cities in the world, Toronto is home to one of the largest Tamil communities in North America. Tamil Canadians have demonstrated their commitment in making exceptional contributions to the cultural, economic, and social well-being of our city. As a not-for-profit organization, CTYA has been empowering Canadian Tamil youth in becoming active community leaders and engaged citizens in the Canadian society.
The City of Toronto is truly fortunate to have outstanding organizations such as the Canadian Tamil Youth Alliance to assist and empower Tamil youth to achieve their fullest potential.
I wish all the best to CTYA and the members for a very enjoyable competition evening and many more years of success.
