Energy Boosting Snacks

Need an energy booster to help get through studying? Ditch the coffee, and pick these up!

Avocados
Avocados are filled with fiber and healthy fats that not only do wonders for your skin, but help energize.

Bananas
Bananas are full of potassium, which can help boost energy levels. For a greater boost, add some peanut butter to your banana.

Blueberries
Blueberries, the super fruit. Filled with antioxidants, these little gems help boost brain function and energy levels!

Carrots
Looking for something fresh and crunchy? Carrots is the way, filled with fiber and beta-carotene, they fill you up, and help your eyesight.

Dried Fruits and Nuts
High on good fat and protein, dried fruit and nuts provided slow-burning sustained energy, to help you pull that all nighter!

Hummus
A lack of protein in can lead to tiredness and fatigue, hummus is filled with protein, and helps you stay energized. Instead of crackers, dip hummus with cucumbers, carrots, celery or red peppers!

Pumpkin Seeds
For a simple carry away snack, choose pumpkin seeds, which are filled with magnesium, iron, calcium, vitamin K and protein.

Red Peppers
Loaded with vitamins A and C, red peppers serve a healthy crunchy snack! You can even dip them with in hummus for a power-snack!

And finally…..

Water
Drinking water is the best thing you can do for your overall health, if your dehydrated, you’ll be tired, so make sure you fill up! If your bored of regular water, spice it up wit home flavour by adding some lemon slices or cucumber slices to your water! Coconut water, is also an alternative which is filled with electrolytes that help rehydrate the body!
