CUTSA presents ‘Kalai Vizha 2010’

Carleton University Tamil Students Association (CUTSA) will host their 23rd Annual ‘Kalai Vizha,’ meaning arts festival, on Saturday, February 13th, 2010.

“This year’s ‘Kalai Vizha’ will feature many different forms of Tamil arts such as classical dances, drama, and musical performances,” commented Niranjan Bala, current president of CUTSA.  “Many students at CUTSA have been working tirelessly to bring out ‘Kalai Vizha’ a successful and entertaining event.  We also have wide support of the Tamil community in Ottawa.  We believe this will be a memorable event for all Tamils in Ottawa,” he further added.

CUTSA was established in 1988 as one of the very first Tamil community organizations in Canada.  One of CUTSA’s main objectives had been promoting the richness of Tamil culture and values year after year through various activities and raise cultural awareness among other community members.
