CTSA playing in the Ontario Soccer League entered the Central Regional East league for the 3rd straight season. With disappointing seasons in the past two year, CTSA changed its game face and started off this season with a blow out winning game by beating Sigma FC 3-0.
CTSA played their second match of the season Sunday evening at 9:00 PM against Toronto Juventus which came in with a record of 0-2-0. The game started with both teams getting action on the ball. CTSA defense held it tight with the help of the midfield to keep Toronto Juventus from striking the net. CTSA had good attempts during the first half and saw highlights from Janarthan Sadacharalingam and Ashok Srikaran who created good opportunities throughout the game. At Halftime, the game was still scoreless. CTSA regrouped and started strong in the second half creating many chances for themselves and moved and switched the ball around very well. The game progressed with chances to score for both team but none did as CTSA put full pressure in the dying minutes to score a goal and won a final corner. The corner was taken and CTSA had a couple of great chance to score but could not put the ball in the back of the net and resulted in a boot out by Toronto Juventus player. The kick resulted in CTSA defense being outnumbered at the moment and Toronto Juventus played a set play going wide right of the field switching the wide left of the field and creating a opportunity for a player which he then put in the back of the net in the last minute of the match. The final score of the game was 1-0. The game was a heartbreaker for CTSA who controlled the game and kept great composer throughout the game. CTSA has now fallen to a record of 1-0-1 but looks to get back on the wining hand facing Hellenics (0-0-2) Sunday June 13th 2010 at Mc Levin Field West.
