The Final Chapter -Tha Prophecy

A lot of us take our environment and the lives we live for granted. The truth is we all play a equal role in the destruction of that same environment. It’s time we all take a second and think about the consequences we may need to pay. The end is near. Freedom Recordz Tha Prophecy brings to you a video that illuminates the current reality of climate change and the need for us to act today before it is too late.

You need a net to shoot.

You need a net to shoot.

When you play sports, you aim to shoot at the net, but you wouldn’t shoot at the net if there was no net. And think about how much fun basketball would be without the net or how much fun soccer and hockey would be without nets; without somewhere to goal, you wouldn’t score – so set goals and score.

To appreciate success, one must have experienced failure.

Sometimes, we need to be reminded that whatever happens, life will go on. We need to have confidence in ourselves that we will get through whatever adversity life throws at us. You don’t think about the light bulb that continually brings light into your room until it burns out. Likewise, without experiencing failure and setback, you may not appreciate happiness when it’s present.

Morning Inspirations =)

“Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.” Groucho Marx

Success Lies in Our Belief

Whenever we speak of our failures, we place the blame on everyone and everything, except ourselves. That is, in itself, reason for yet another failure. Those who see success are not born with perfection, but rather they are those who perfect their each and every step, as they move along the path to their goals.

Is the Glass Half Empty or Half Full?

More than 40 years ago, the late Earl Nightingale, an American motivational speaker known as the Dean of Personal Development, electrified his sales team at his insurance company with a message – the “stranges secret” – that would eventually motivate millions of people worldwide. In essence, the strangest secret is, “You are what you think; you are your thoughts.” For those of you who might be students of history and philosophy, you know that as powerful as this message is, it is not a new one. Abraham Lincoln said, “People are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “We become what we think about all day long.” William Shakespeare said, “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” And Jesus said, “As you think, so shall you be.”

Being part of a struggle is no new idea to manhood. Every account of human life on Earth illustrates a struggle, in one form or another. Since the first recorded episode of human life on this planet, man has been in struggle with nature, making tools and weapons of stone, hunting animals and gathering plants, and now since the evolution of modern technology, he has ventured on to causing damage to the environment

FIRST WORLD CUP - 1930, Uruguay welcomes the soccer world

Over 200 nations from around the globe spent more than two years playing in close to 900 matches in order to become one of the 32 teams to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. How times have changed.

The inaugural World Cup, held in Uruguay in 1930, is the only competition in which teams did not have to qualify – instead, 13 nations were invited to participate.

Unlike today when countries fight and scrap just to earn a World Cup berth, the first tournament was seen as a nuisance by a handful of nations.
