This event emulates CanTYD’s vision to support Tamil highschool youth between the grads of 9 and 12 in their academic, professional, and personal pursuits so that they in turn may be exemplary role models to the community and provide service to the Canadian society. The youth honoured this year are a reflection of CanTYD’s success in breaking the barriers, as they have provided them with guidance and strong mentorship over the years. CanTYD is also reflecting and reaching out to all those individuals who played an integral role in CanTYD’s past. CanTYD intends to invigorate the organization’s capacity and programming goals with the energy of these key players and build the future together with a re-energized focus.
