Imaging having to run away from your own country. Leaving everything that mattered behind and the people you’ve met and grew to love throughout your lives. Hiding from strangers who may burn you alive, rape you, even toss your babies into a pit of fire. That’s the ordeal our parents encountered. We should honor them by remembering Black July and the agonizing experiences and sacrifices they underwent.

It sticks to the brain and is easy to relate to, especially when using genres that are heard and accepted internationally. This is why I chose music as my strategy, what will yours be?
