Black History Month

Black History Month is an opportunity for Canadians to recognize the significant contributions Black people have made in education, medicine, art, culture, public service, economic development, politics, and human rights.

Today, Black people in Canada and around the world have accomplished a great deal; Black History Month is a time when stories, experiences, and accomplishments of people of African origin are recognized and celebrated.
