Are you a forgiver, or a grudge holder?

So when you get into an argument with a friend (a serious one) are you the one to forgive, or are you the one to hold a grudge against them?

I read in a magazine (probably Psycholoogy Today) that forgiving someone releases stress, and that it is also stressful to hold on to an argument, or resent the person. So, what do you do, forgive and forget, or push them away forever? Forgiveness sounds like the goodway, but, it much easier said than done. (I mean, if forgiveness was so easy, we wouldn’t have so many self-helpbooks dedicated to helpus forgive and ‘get over’ arguments, right?)

So, what about you, Would you forgive your friend and be open to posible hurt in the future, or would you hold a nice long grudge to ‘teachyour friend a lesson?’
