Students are hired every year for this program to fill a variety of summer positions across the Ontario Public Service, its related agencies and community groups.
The Summer Company program provides students interested in starting a business with hands on business training and mentoring. Furthermore, program participants are eligible to receive awards of up to $3,000 to start and run their own summer businesses.
Stewardship Youth Ranger Program
The Stewardship Youth Ranger program enables students interested in natural resources to work and manage projects for 8 weeks this summer. The types of projects include creating habitats for species considered at risk, monitoring the health of forests, maintaining provincial parks, rehabilitating wetlands, and helping with environmental community events.
Articling and Summer Law Student Program
This opportunity will enable youth to develop practical legal skills while making a significant contribution to the projects worked on. This is a great summer job for those interested in getting some experience for a career in law.
