A message from WATSA:
A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom.“ – Bob Dylan
Throughout our struggle for independence and freedom, we have lost over 30,000 heroes and over 150,000 brothers and sisters who sacrificed their lives to preserve our Tamil identity.
Whether a solution for Tamil Eelam has been achieved or not, the memory of our heroes continue to live on in our hearts. Our heroes have fought for our country, protecting our blood and have built a strong foundation for our current and future generations to hold on to as we continue our battle for freedom.
To signify this, the Waterloo Tamil Students Association welcomes everyone to our Maaveerar Naal 2012, which will be held on November 20th 2012 at M3 1006 at 8:30 p.m.
Please wear black, red, and/or yellow to show your respect for our fallen soldiers and as a symbol of unity for the future!
Thamilarin Thaagam, Thamil Eela Thaayagam.
