Canadian Tamil Chamber of Commerce : Annual 4 Kilo Meter Walk-A-Thon for Scarborough Hospital Foundation

This Sunday on June the 3rd, the Canadian Tamil Chamber of Commerce will host their Annual 4 Kilo Meter Walk-A-Thon to help raise money for the Scarborough Hospital Foundation.

Established in 1991, the Canadian Tamil Chamber of Commerce ( CTCC ) is a not-for profit organization aimed at developing successful businesses and entrepreneurship in the Tamil community in Canada, and at promoting charitableness and volunteerism in the community. CTCCs membership continues to expand on a regular basis, and currently stands at over 450.

The Scarborough Hospital (TSH), Canada’s largest urban community hospital, delivers innovative, high quality patient care, advocates for our community’s health and wellness issues, and is a leader in research, teaching and learning. Serving a community of close to one million people or approximately one-third of the GTA, TSH has 3,330 staff, more than 700 physicians, and 600 volunteers.

When: Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 at 8:00 a.m to 12:00 Noon.
Where: Kidstown Water Park, 3159 Birchmount Road, Scarborough
Registration: 8:00 a.m.
Walk Starts: 9:00 a.m.
Presentations: 11:00 a.m.
