TYO-Canada cordially invites you to the much awaited Website Launch of Maaveerar Illam, www.maaveerarillam.com, on Sunday, January 16th, 2011. This website will consist of a database that includes information of all the Maaveerar (Heroes) involved in the resistance against injustice, discrimination and inequality inflicted on the Tamil people. We look forward to the attendance of everyone for the launch of this website as it will prove to forever preserve Tamil history, struggle, and identity. Furthermore, the website will be undoubtedly great feat for the entire Tamil community worldwide. The event will start promptly at 6 PM and will take place at Canada Kanthasamy Temple, located at 733 Birchmount Road. The event will also serve as a celebration of Tamil New Years (Thai Pongal) and the memorial of Colonel Kittu and Colonel Charles.
