How Dare You Tell Me I cant Walk On My Own Land

How dare you tell me i cant walk on my own land
you think i’ll back off and let you stand?
we’ve suffered long enough escaping their bloody hands
soon they’ll wake up and wonder what happend
the truth never goes untold, their lies hover above the world
its only a matter of time till it rains through
it’ll splash blood against their dreams that wont come true
We will claim whats ours, from our children to our flowers
Their murders do not have more power then our voices
They left us without peaceful choices
and we picked up a gun, but we didnt run
whether we are in canada austrailia london or eelam
we’re still bound together with one hope, fighting for freedom
They might think we’ve been silenced but we’ve always been loud
the deaf could even hear our pleas wen those with ears ignored our crowd
the blind could witness atrocities when those with eyes refused to see
everybody knows, but who will have the courage to step up
yes its us, we’ve had enough
endless nights we spend without peace, yet we live in a country thats free
**
i hear her screaming, baby in hand
begging to god to let her baby live
hope fades in her voice as her baby girl stops breathing
one more life they’ve taken without reason
**
he runs in agony clothed in red, crying
“they took my son from me”
he lost his wife already that night
he doesnt even have a body to fight for
missing is his family, gone is his home
Lost is his will to live, yet he lives on
**
little boy at only 3 years old,
doesnt have his dad’s shoulder to lean on
or his mother to hold
asks where they are but hes only told ,
” run !!!! ”
**
above them its coming, more planes ready for bombing
but they cant run anymore
where will they go..
no matter the place, no matter how old
they will be killed because they are the ones that own
this land they want, this land they claim
belonged to us from the very begining
**
They not only want our land, but want our people to die
we are not going to let that slide, or give up our pride
they’ll pay the price for every innocent life
they’re taking selfishly now without thinking twice
but we wont go defeated without putting up a fight
we will be heard, we will ask for our rights
parade around dead bodies if they must
A disgusting pleasure for death, they show such lust
I dare them to lust it, when we walk our streets one day
that day they give up, that day they`ll pay
But till then we wont just sit still and pray
we`ll play our part in every way..
because its in our blood, to be a Tamil
& when we`ve been destined to Eelam
we wont rest till OUR LAND has freedom
till OUR people can breath again
till OUR CHILDREN can play and laugh
till Peace can finally smile upon us
That day is on its way
& this nightmare will pass
